LA Times Polls; FL, OH, PA

Very tight LV screen (5.00 / 0)

Sheesh, do you have to pledge your first born to be a LV in these polls? Only 54% of RVs are LVs in FL? 57% in OH?  The must be factoring in the GOP suppression efforts....

To expand on this point... (none / 0)

...the approximate figures for the 342 Pennsylvania voters who did NOT qualify as LV were....

40% Bush (approx. 136 of 342)
48% Kerry (approx. 164)
12% Other (approx. 42)

Who are these people?

Party IDs (none / 0)

I'd like to see some Party IDs. I don't believe any of those polls. Even the article doubts them. Funny how the LA Times printed a poll that they recognized was dubious but the NY Times suppressed a poll with a big lead for Kerry in Florida. What a joke.

Party IDs (none / 0)

The La Times has a link where they breakdown the voter's party registration.  The Florida Poll has 43% Republicans 41% Democrats and the rest are Independents.  Looks like they oversampled Republicans.  The link is hear http://www.latimes.com/media/acrobat/2004-10/14837171.pdf

Weird (none / 0)

Those numbers just don't make sense, no matter how you look at them.  I guess the L.A. Times shouldn't even try polling on a state level.  They were wildly off on the recall election, if I remember correctly, and that was their own state.
